You know, when I was a little girl I always hated pink. I hated pastels. Was that just a 90s thing? Some sort of I-only-listen-to-the-Smashing-Pumpkins-and-god-help-you-if-you-give-me-a-barbie grunge angst thing?
I dunno. But anyway, these days I am in LOVE with pink and pastels. Did this change happen to anyone else when they grew up? Maybe it’s just cos these colours remind me of delicious cupcakes. Or maybe it’s because they feel so fresh, clean and calming.
Because of my new found love of pink, and because I thought that winter wear needs some colour, I decided to crochet this beauty. Check out my new Cupcake Beanie! Made out of ecru coloured cotton yarn with a pink coloured pom pom and edging this beanie really brightens up those cold winter days.
What do you think? Cute, right? You can get your hands on one of these babies for a measly €15! ALSO, customisations are welcome. For example you can request a peach coloured pom pom and edging in place of the pink. Or light blue would work really nice as well!
